P.I.C.S.-VT (patent pending) are Portable Intelligence Collection Systems (Video Trailer).
P.I.C.S. are refined video surveillance systems designed to provide effective and affordable security to remote locations wirelessly.
P.I.C.S. units are self contained, trailer mounted, high-resolution video camera platforms using high speed wireless broadband radios to transmit surveillance information. This video surveillance system can be monitored from any broadband connected computer, enabling the control of system features such as (pan, tilt, zoom, etc.) from any location in the world. Specific reactions can be programmed into the system based on the information received by the PICS unit which can then initiate a page, phone call, turn on lights, etc... Using the real time information transmitted, security mangagment and field personnel can react to individual circumstances with speed and precision, maximizing manpower. PICS addresses the need for remote security surveillance, intelligent traffic systems, special event security & homeland security. The possibilities are endless.
No outside power source required!
PICS are powered by large battery packs. The standard battery pack will power the basic PICS configuration for 17 days before recharging is needed. The add-on battery pack increases this to 32 days before recharging. Re-charging the "Pack" can be accomplished in several ways: Solar collectors (standard equipment) continuously charge the battery pack. This makes the system virtually autonamous, with time between maintainance averaging 2 - 6 months. Optional charging sources are generators, fuel cells, 12-24v wind turbine.

- Trailer Mounted, Extendable Tower: P.I.C.S.-VT is based on a custom manufactured Trailer unit specifically designed to maintain a low center of gravity and stabilize the Mast / Tower in high winds.
- Engineered: Our P.I.C.S.-VT is engineered by a Professional Engineer and manufactured from Stamped drawings.
- Compact: The heavy unit (P.I.C.S.-VTH) includes a telescoping steel mast that reaches 41 feet (other heights optional) and may be partially deployed (lower height). The trailer unit, when traveling, is less than 7 feet in height allowing it to fit in a garage, parking structure or other low clearance situations.
- Small Footprint: When deployed, the trailer is almost square, allowing it to be oriented in almost any direction and to fit into tight spaces such as street median, sidewalks, etc...
- Stability: In deployed mode, the units outriggers extend in two axis so the stability footprint is enlarged in two directions, not just one. Additionally, the weight of the unit is kept low to aid in wind resistance.
- One Person Deployment: One person can deploy this P.I.C.S. unit in 15-30 minutes.
- Vandal Resistant: All electronics and wiring are inside protective enclosures that make it very difficult for vandals to access and harm the equipment. Mast/tower wiring is all routed inside the mast where it is hidden and protected.
- High Resolution Video: High resolution, low light, night viewing, zoom capable. See and identify a man getting out of his car with a tire iron, at night, from 12 stories in the air, from 3/4 of a mile away. Auto iris, auto focus, large "optical" zoom.
- High Speed Wireless Broadband Connections: -VT units use powerful radio transceivers (5.8ghz WI-FI at 54Mbps) to transmit the video signal from the P.I.C.S. unit to a receiver unit many miles away. The signal can then be sent to the internet for remote viewing by Management, Command Authority, Elected Officials, Customer or First Responders.
